Pretending to be happy when you're in pain is just an example of

how strong you are as a person.

The greatest pain in life is to be ignored, to lose the person you love to someone who doesn't care at all. No love can hurt as much as the love that can never be and no thought can hurt as much as the thought of a love that could have been. Real tears are not those that fall from the eyes and cover the face but are those that fall from the heart and cover the soul.
